Luis Comes Home

Luis is back. I missed him terribly the week he was gone. He came back looking even cuter and sexier than ever. He got new glasses. His father apparently now has glasses that he sells so after he gave him the eye exam, he took a look at the selection he was offering and he got some really cute, small, brown glasses.

I don't think his trip was as fun as he expected it to be. He got the courage to tell his father about us, about us wanting to get married. That was really brave of him. Apparently his father's response was "so it wouldn't be a real wedding." This hurt Luis. He was hoping for far more emotional support than that. I told him that his father loves him very much, but that we can't expect people to understand the whole gay thing. Some people are just fine never having to talk about it. However, in this case, it was necessary that it be brought to his attention. I think the trip was also a bit boring for him because his family never shows much excitement when he goes to visit. They never really plan things to do with him. I feel so bad for my sweet baby. I think he had an OK time but not GREAT. Elizabeth, his older sister wasn't being very nice to him either the last few days before he came back home. I think that upset him as well.

Luis also got to see my family, and they sent me their love along with food! YAY! He brought back pictures of my parent's newly remodeled house. It isn't finished yet, but its come a long way. The bathroom is gorgeous. I'll post pictures when I get them uploaded. My mom and Joseph (my lil bro) are coming to visit me November 11th weekend. I am very excited about that. I miss my family terribly.
